New Membership applicants are subject to additional due diligence including but not limited to a check of Federal, State, Local and Regulatory watch-lists, etc. New Membership Applications will be submitted for approval to the Executive Officers and the Board of Directors. Application must be submitted with two (2) letters of recommendation, one (1) from a Regular Member and one (1) from an associate or affiliate member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Alabama, Inc.

MEMBERSHIP DUES STRUCTURE

Regular Members: Category 1

Mortgage Banking Firms, Commercial Banks, Savings and Loan Associations and Mortgage Brokerage Firms shall pay base dues of $350.00. Additionally, companies that do more than $50 million shall add to the above vase, an additional $1.00 per $1 million, on Alabama servicing or origination volume (whichever is greater), not to exceed $1,000.00.

Associate Members: Category 2

Life Insurance Companies, Credit Bureaus, Investment Banking Firms, Private Mortgage Insurance Companies, Title Insurance Companies, Law Firms, Accounting Firms, Appraisal Firms, Engineering Firms, Architectural Firms and Consultants shall pay annual dues of $350.00

Affiliate Members: Category 3

For companies without an office or a representative living within the State of Alabama, annual dues shall be $250.00.
