Future Leaders of MBA of Alabama

The Future Leaders Program of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Alabama (MBAA) was introduced in 2007 by President, Todd Cheney.   The main goal of the program is to educate and mentor future leaders of the Association.  The purpose is to prepare individuals, who have committed themselves to the industry, for a committee chair or board seat. The individuals chosen each year become familiar with the operations of the MBAA and are required to participate in the activities throughout the year.  (See Program Requirements)

The program creates a pool of future leaders who will be able to use the knowledge and experience gained in the program to make a difference in the Alabama MBA and obviously add value to themselves and their company.  After being mentored they will have complete knowledge of how the MBAA is run, what is expected of them and how much time is required to dedicate to the Association before they accept a position.
